DO NOT CONTINUE UNTIL YOU HAVE INSTALLED PRIILOADER AND BOOTMII!ĭo NOT make a shortcut for the games “Mario Party 9” or “A Boy and His Blob”. Der Homebrew Launcher kann nur mit Tiramisu verwendet werden. Installing brick protection along with following the guide correctly should keep you safe from bricks. Also, install BootMii (as Boot2 if you have an early Wii). In the case of a brick, installing Priiloader is a must. ĭo you use a USB Loader and want to create game shortcuts to launch them on your Wii Menu? Then try WiiGSC (Wii Game Shortcut Creator), previously known as Crap. If you need help for anything regarding this tutorial, please join the RiiConnect24 Discord server (recommended) or e-mail us at. Because of the simple fact that this program is set to run automatically when the Wii is turned on I may use this program instead of USB Loader GX because all the games I play are put onto an external hard drive for easier access/organization.For support in English, ask for help at RiiConnect24 on Discord. Sure, once the program runs, my hard drive isn't detected automatically, but after three seconds of waiting, Configurable USB Loader detects it, and even has the last run game selected automatically. Still there was one thing I was able to do that I could not do with USB Loader GX have it set to run automatically from Priiloader. I still like USB Loader because, to me, it has a more user friendly interface, and in general is more graphically pleasing. Took a few minutes to get used to the system, but once that was done, I was able to do most of the stuff I could do with USB Loader GX.

Also, that Configurable USB Loader, I gave it a try. at least the channel is working fine now, so I at least managed to resolve that problem. The weird bit? The file still runs fine when I run it from homebrew. Well nice idea, but wouldn't you know it, I got a blank screen. My attitude was, since USB Loader GX is working now, just set it up to run automatically by installing the file from priiloader, that way I no longer have to fool with the system menu at all (yes.I am that lazy). The only problem? I *still* can't get the program to run from Priiloader. Now that the IOS files are updated USB Loader GX ran without any problems.

What I did was look up a rather recent guide that told you how to softmod a Wii, followed the instructions, and the problem went away. Turns out it was as I thought the IOS files needed updating. Here's a link to the all-in-one package I'm using. When ran from anywhere else the result is either a blank screen, or a return to the system menu when ran as a channel. Also, if I'm using Priiloader, and I'm running the file in question directly from that, that eliminates misplacement entirely, so why then why does the screen still go blank, and not run the file?Īs stated, the file will run, but only when ran from the homebrew channel. I mean, the forwarder is 2.94 MB, and the USB Loader GX channel is 6.53 MB, so I can already rule out installing two different forwarders. Also, while a misplacement of the file may be possible for the forwarder, that still doesn't explain why I get the exact same error when I try to set it up to run as it's own independent channel, so that the SD card is taken out of the picture entirely. So far the file is in the sd:\apps\usbloader_gx folder.

For the most part the all-in-one download had things ready to where you can just drag and drop them onto the root of your SD card. Actually the file was in the right place.
